Juripath

Self-represented is not the same as unprepared.

Guided, jurisdiction-specific legal documents you draft yourself — each one linked to the official government source of record, so you can check every requirement against the authority that issued it.

About the platform

Most self-filers are defeated by procedure, not by law.

The form was the wrong version. A required schedule was missing. The filing fee changed in March. Juripath is built to close that gap — and to show you where each requirement comes from.

What happens next

A large share of people in civil legal matters proceed without a lawyer. For many of them that is a reasonable choice — forming an LLC, writing a simple will, or papering a loan between two people are procedural tasks, not adversarial ones. What defeats people is rarely the law itself. It is the process around it.

Juripath walks you through a structured interview, assembles a document from attorney-reviewed templates, and hands you a filing packet: the completed document, the official form it corresponds to, the current fee, where it goes, and what happens after you file it.

Every requirement cites its authority. Nothing is improvised at generation time. Given the same answers, Juripath produces the same document — which is what makes it reviewable by an attorney in the first place.

How it works

Interview. Assemble. File.

01

Guided interview

Plain-language questions in the order the document actually needs them, branching on your jurisdiction and your answers. No blank template to stare at.

02

Deterministic assembly

Your answers populate attorney-reviewed clause libraries through fixed rules. The same inputs always produce the same document, and every clause is traceable to the rule that produced it.

03

Linked to the source of record

Each document is tied to the statute, rule, and official government form it derives from, with the link included. You are never asked to take our word for a requirement.

04

A filing packet, not a PDF

Signing and witnessing requirements, the current fee, the filing office, and what to expect afterward. The parts people miss are in the packet, not buried in a help article.

Coverage

Two products, built separately.

juripath.com — United States

Leads with business formation and everyday agreements: LLC formation, simple wills, promissory notes, and the documents around them. Utah, New York, and Delaware at launch, each built against that state’s own filing office and statutes rather than a generic national template.

juripath.ca — Canada

Built for the province you are actually in, not adapted from an American product. 27 documents across 12 jurisdictions, with provincial requirements treated as the starting point rather than a footnote.

What Juripath is not

It is not a law firm, and it does not tell you what to do. It does not choose a strategy for you, evaluate the strength of a claim, or represent you. It is a scrivener: it helps you produce a correct document and shows you where the rules came from.

The design standard

Useful, and honest about its limits.

Two constraints shape every decision in this product. The first is that a document a filing office rejects is worse than no document at all, so correctness and currency of source material come before breadth of coverage. We would rather cover three states properly than thirty approximately.

The second is the line between legal information and legal advice. Juripath stays on the information side deliberately, and says so plainly. Where a matter is contested, unusual, or high-value, the product says to see an attorney — and gives you an organized packet to bring to that meeting, which is a materially shorter and cheaper conversation than starting from nothing.

Templates and rules are reviewed by licensed attorneys before release, and source links are re-verified on a schedule. When a fee or a form version changes, the document changes with it.

* Juripath is a legal information and document-preparation service, not a law firm. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
